Capabilities
What sets Acadivia Assessment apart.
Governed authoring, balanced assembly, and controlled bilingual delivery.
Authoring
Governed question authoring
Private author workspaces by category, a Draft → First Review → Ready lifecycle with an optional Blocked state, and review with author identity hidden. Editorial notes, bulk review, and publish gates for difficulty and expected time keep question production controlled.
Bank quality controls
Find exact and near duplicates at a configurable threshold, repeated answer options, and single-choice questions marked with several correct answers. Checks cover imports, edits, and pasted content, plus scheduled bank-wide scans and exports.
Delivery
English and Arabic exam choice
Candidates choose once between separate English and Arabic versions. The other version stays hidden and both feed a single grade. Versions are authored, not automatically translated.
Timers and extensions
Set time at exam, section, question, or page level, or derive it from the bank. Use sequential navigation and automatic submission when time expires. Individual or group extensions scale every segment proportionally.
Exam Operations
Balanced exam assembly
Choose an approved question pool, exam duration, question count, and easy/medium/hard mix in a guided blueprint builder. Check pool depth and possible combinations before automatic random assembly, using expected question times for realistic pacing. Exam definitions lock once students have attempted.
Live invigilation and guided progression
Guide candidates through the required exam order, automatically moving to the next activity and resuming at the first unfinished item on course entry. The next exam opens after the previous is attempted, with manager overrides available. Monitor live progress and answered counts while grades stay private. Pause attempts without losing remaining time, or block and unblock with recorded reasons and a who/when/why audit trail.

Questions from exam teams.
How do candidates choose between English and Arabic?
Candidates make a one-time choice between the provided English and Arabic exam versions. They then see only that version, and the other is hidden. Both versions feed a single grade. Each version is authored by your team, rather than automatically translated.
Can time limits be set per section or question?
Yes. Timers can apply to the whole exam, a section, a question, or a page, or be derived from the question bank. Exams submit automatically when time expires. Extensions for an individual or a group scale each segment proportionally.
Is author identity hidden during review?
Yes. Anonymous review hides who wrote a question from reviewers. Editorial notes and bulk review are available, and a question needs difficulty and expected time before it can be published.
Does pausing an exam preserve the remaining time?
Yes. Pausing, blocking, and unblocking each require a reason, and a pause preserves the candidate’s remaining time. The log records who acted, when, and why.
Can we import questions from a spreadsheet?
Yes. Multiple-choice questions can be imported from and exported to spreadsheet layouts, carrying difficulty and expected time. Imported content is checked for duplicates and answer-option issues.
